Creative Reuse: Art from Trash

Making art affordable, accessible, and environmentally responsible.

It’s simple.

We believe art is for everyone…we believe art can inspire a better world…we believe art can be environmentally aware…and we’re on a mission to prove it.

Here’s how:

  • The Creative Materials Exchange – Access to low cost art materials reclaimed and diverted from public landfills by organizing exchange events where the community can contribute and trade art materials that would otherwise be discarded. ¬†Proceeds from these events support the development of a permanent Creative Reuse Materials Exchange Center.
  • Environmental Awareness Education For The Arts – Programs, presentations, educational resources, lesson plans, and training provided to help teachers and artists practice environmental responsibility.
  • Affordable Art Classes and Workshops – Art is for everyone – learn how by applying innovative techniques with an emphasis on environmental sustainability. *Scholarships offered based on financial need

Find us at 9th Street Village behind the DIY Cave. Follow the path between the buildings, turn left and enter at the far end of Griffin Hall. We are the first studio on the left inside, with a gold door.
